Abbi Shabazz

Abbi Shabazz is ther managing director of Exwaze, LLC, an international content distribution and special event company. He is a board member for Red Hook Water Works, an artist/production management company, as well as the co-founder of Good Tree Media, Cherokee Bey Film Company, and the Inkiru Cultural and Education Center. He also serves as a special adviser to the High School For Recording Arts Minnesota.
Shabazz has developed and negotiated entertainment projects for major industry companies and institutions such as ABC, NBC, HBO, Universal Studios, Paramount Pictures, Koch Records, UMG, BMG, and Sony. He has created and administrated music, film and television projects, including Broadway plays, live tour productions, radio programming and literary works, in both foreign and domestic markets.
Shabazz specializes in developing administrative and professional teams to provide artists, artist management companies, and production teams with developmental and professional support. He recently developed a strategic partnership between Exwaze, LLC and SJS Studios, the largest independent animation studio in China, based in Shanghai and Beijing. Exwaze, LLC has a distribution alliance for DVD distribution that includes Target, Best Buy, Wal-Mart, and other major chain retailers.
