Beverly Hills, CA (January 18, 2011) – Artist International client, Gabriel Scott has teamed with Quincy Pictures to launch “The Sentient,” a sci-fi thriller.
The filmmaking community rallied behind the first time director, Gabe Scott, to help him make his idea a reality. With the backing of financier Quincy Pictures and a crew of over 60 people, including 3 Oscar nominated crew members, (AI Client Scott Anderson donated his time to supervise the SFX, Randy Kerber who composed the score, and Rick Kline who has been nominated for 11 oscars as a sound mixer), Scott was able to accomplish something that many thought was near impossible, create a project with over 80 VFX shots in just under 9 minutes of film time with an extremely limited budget.
When asked about the challenges that were facing the first time director, Scott responded “As a director, one of your earliest and perhaps hardest tasks is building a crew that will help you realize your vision. I had the great fortune of working with an incredibly dedicated and talented collection of artists, who saw my potential and stood behind my decisions”.

The highly touted trailer for THE SENTIENT is the first step in Scott’s process of turning THE SENTIENT in to a full length feature. The film stars Allene Quincy and Nik Isbelle.
