Artist International Client Guy Moshe Opens Actioner BUNRAKU This Weekend

Los Angeles, CA., September 29th, 2011 – Artist International client Guy Moshe debuts his latest film, Bunraku, this Friday, September 30th. Both written and directed by Moshe, the action/thriller stars Josh Hartnett, Demi Moore, Woody Harrelson, Ron Perlman, Kevin McKidd, and Japanese superstar Gackt.

Based on the 400-year-old form of Japanese Puppet Theater, Bunraku is set in a world with no guns. The film follows a mysterious drifter (Hartnett), a bartender (Harrelson) and a young samurai (Gackt) as they plot revenge against a ruthless crime boss (Perlman) and his army of thugs, headed by nine deadly assassins.

The film debuted at the 2010 Toronto International Film Festival and has been steadily generating interest ever since.

Moshe is currently gearing up for his next project, The Last Draw of Jack of Hearts. Set in iconic Casablanca, it is the story of a man, betrayed by his best friend and left for dead, who returns to reclaim the life he once lived. On his quest for revenge, he must battle his former confidant and win back the woman he loves.

Hollywood Studios International is producing along with Paul Schiff and Tai Duncan.
