Award-winning Director Millicent Shelton signs with Artist International

May 22, 2007 (Los Angeles, CA) Hollywood Studios International CEO Steven Saxton announced today that Award-winning Director, Millicent Shelton, has signed with Artist International for representation in all areas.

Millicent directed more than 100 music videos for artists such as Mary J Blige, R. Kelly, and Salt-n-Pepa before getting her start in episodic directing.  Millicent has directed episodes of MY NAME IS EARL, GIRLFRIENDS, EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS, BIG DAY and THE LOOP among others.  She was nominated and won an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Directing in a Comedy Series for her episode of THE BERNIE MAC SHOW.  This year she was nominated again, this time for her work on EVERYBODY HATES CHRIS.  Millicent also wrote and directed the feature film, RIDE, for Miramax Films. 

Millicent will be represented by Artist International’s Vice President of Management, Stan Spry, and is also represented by Preferred Artists Agency.
