LOS ANGELES, CA – September 9th, 2011 – The Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best, “TIFF’s Hidden Gem”, Screening Tonight at the Toronto International Film Festival
HSI FILMS HANDLING INTERNATIONAL SALES
Hollywood Studios International Production and Distribution arm, HSI Films, has secured the high-profile screening positions for THE BROOKLYN BROTHERS BEAT THE BEST which will be in the Discovery section of the 2011 Toronto International Film Festival.
The film is written and directed by Ryan O’Nan and stars Ryan O’Nan, Michael Weston and Arielle Kebbel with an ensemble cast including Melissa Leo, Andrew McCarthy, Christopher McDonald, Jason Ritter and Wilmer Valderrama. The film is produced by Jason Michael Berman and Kwesi Collisson.
With only an acoustic guitar, a broken heart, and an arsenal of children’s instruments, dejected singer-songwriter, Alex (O’Nan) and self-appointed music revolutionary Jim (Weston), set off on a dubious tour that may be their last shot at achieving their childhood dreams.
