Mr. Malone is a twenty year veteran of the music and entertainment business. His Public Relations firm, Hands On Public Relations & Marketing, has handled Grammy award winners Ray Charles; Brian Wilson; Gospel’s Shirley Caesar; New Age guru Kitaro; and the Godfather of Soul, James Brown. Previously Mr. Melone was in sales and promotion with Capitol Records working with Bob Seger, Duran Duran and The Steve Miller Band, among others. He took part in resurrecting the career of Tina Turner to superstar level. He went on to head the marketing and publicity for Capitol/EMI’s International Division. Acts signed at the time included Diana Ross and David Bowie. Mr. Melone has also held positions with Norman Winter/Associates and Wilkinson/Lipsman Associates, handling Michael Jackson, Bob Dylan, Morris Day, Eric Burdon, Jesse Johnson, LA & Babyface as well as Robin Williams, Billy Crystal, Sammy Davis, Jr., and Fran Drescher in television and film.
