(Beverly Hills, CA – May 9, 2012) The Hollywood Studios International Automotive racing team is revved up and ready to turn some fast laps at this weekend’s American Le Mans Series race in Monterey, California.
Thirty-four of the world’s finest sports cars and their drivers are set to do battle at the renowned Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca circuit. The green flag for the American Le Mans Monterey presented by Patrón is set to drop at 1:30 p.m. PT this Saturday, May 12th.
Sporting the traditional HSI colors, logo and paint scheme, the Porsche GT3, driven by Michael Avenatti and Bob Faieta, will be racing in the GTC class. Racing partner Michael Avenatti is a strategic legal advisor for Hollywood Studios International and the Managing Partner at Eagan Avenatti, LLP. Bob Faieta is the founder of Competition Motorsports and a winner of multiple Sports Car Racing championships.
The American Le Mans Monterey presented by Patrón takes place at 1:30 p.m. PT on Saturday, May 12, from the 2.238-mile Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca. ESPN2 airs the race at 5 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 13. Live coverage is available starting at 4:15 p.m. ET on ESPN3.
