HOLLYWOOD STUDIOS INTERNATIONAL CEO STEVEN SAXTON ATTENDS DUBAI INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL OPENING NIGHT GALA WITH JESSE METCALFE AND HIS HIGHNESS SHEIKH MAJID BIN MOHAMMAD BIN RASHID AL MAKTOUM

December 11, 2006 (Dubai) - Hollywood Studios International CEO Steven Saxton attended the opening night gala at the Dubai International Film Festival with actor Jesse Metcalfe ("Desperate Housewives" "John Tucker Must Die") and Hollywood Studios International's Executive Director for Dubai, Dr. Samir Mohammed.

At a VIP gathering prior to the screening of “Bobby,” Saxton, Metcalfe, and Mohammed met with His Highness Sheikh Majid Bin Mohammed bin Rashid al Maktoum, son of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Saeed al Maktoum, the visionary Ruler of Dubai, Vice President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates, as well as His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of the Department of Civil Aviation and Chairman of Emirates Group.  Saxton returned to Dubai from Los Angeles for the festival and continues to emphasize the strategic nature of building Dubai's entertainment industry. He is currently structuring the launch of Hollywood Studios International's Dubai-based film and television production company. Other notable guests in attendance included Prince Albert of Monaco, Sheikha Lubna Khalid Sultan al Qasimi, the Minister for Economy and Planning of the UAE, Dr. Hanif Hassan, the UAE Minister of Education, Ahmad Bi Byat, Secretary General of Executive Council of Dubai, Dr. Omar Bin Sulaiman, the CEO of the Dubai International Financial Exchange, actor Lawrence Fishburne, producer Gary Michael Walters ("Bobby"), and Bollywood actress Kangna Renaut.
