LOS ANGELES, CA – November 9th, 2011 – Models International’s (MI) Spotlight Model of the week – Audren Maugars – New Faces/Runway
Audren Maugars grew up in Grasse, France near Cannes. She began her modeling career at age 16 doing runway work for large fashion houses, such as Valentino. Her true dream, however, was to be in the American film business. Audren says, “In the French education system, students aren’t allowed to choose which classes they take. So, the only classes I really enjoyed were English language classes.” Perfecting her English skills allowed Audren to get closer to her American dream.
Just before her 20th birthday, she moved to Orange County, California and began her studies at Cal State Fullerton. Eventually Audren landed an internship for Models International’s parent company, Hollywood Studios International/HSI Films. This is where Audren was discovered and now finds herself a bright new face on the MI roster. She says, “Americans are very welcoming people…and a little crazy, like me.” With this new opportunity at MI and an optimistic attitude she hopes to learn more about the world of Hollywood.
