Feature Film: The Ledge

The Ledge is a philosophical thriller about a young college professor, Gavin, who stands on the ledge of a high-rise building and seems determined to take his own life. Enter a detective, Hollis, who has been sent to talk the “jumper” out of it – but discovers that Gavin plans to jump off the building before noon that day. But we soon learn that Hollis has just suffered his own life-shattering experience, and in the end, it’s Gavin who has to convince the policeman that his own life is worth living.

Novelist and Director Matthew Chapman (Color of Night, Runaway Jury, Black Water Transit) also wrote the screenplay. The film stars Charlie Hunnam (Sons of Anarchy, Children of Men, Cold Mountain) as Gavin, Terrence Howard (Iron Man, Crash, Hustle&Flow) as Hollis and co-stars Liv Tyler (The Lord of The Rings Trilogy, Armageddon, The Incredible Hulk) and Patrick Wilson (The A-Team, Watchmen, Little Children).

The film is to be Produced by Mark Damon, Michael Mailer and Matthias Visser. Executive Producers include Steven Saxton and Prince Faisal S. Al Saud.
